American singer Cassie recorded the R&B/Pop song Is It You in 2007 for the soundtrack of the dance movie Step Up 2: The Streets (2008), in which she also features. American record producer/recording artist Ryan Leslie wrote and produced the song –with assistance from Brent Paschke.

Is It You peaked at number ten (10) on the UK R&B Singles chart and at number fifty-two (52) on the UK Singles chart while garnering substantial positive reviews from music critics.

Most of all, this right here is a groovy, feel-good song and is probably one of Cassie’s finest musical offerings.
