It features record-producer and rapper Timbaland.

The track was put out on June 7, 2004 as the lead single from the album, achieving relative success on the charts.

In the US, it peaked at Number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, Number 7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and Number 4 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.

The single was also certified gold in the US and peaked at Number 25 in the UK.

Being a predecessor to the album’s second single Hush, Headsprung did achieve more success than its follow-up too.
