2face Idibia - No Shaking

No Shaking is the third (3rd) track –and second (2nd) song- from Nigerian award-winning singer-songwriter 2face Idibia’s sophomore album Grass 2 Grace (2007).

The mid-tempo afro-pop song is a wake up call to the artiste’s audience as he asks them to rise up and work hard to make their lives better. He asks them in Nigerian popular slang to “shine their eyes” because there is really not enough time to whirl away idly.

The song, in its rhythmic and catchy chorus, uses the popular local adage “nobody wan kpai but them wan go Heaven”, which means that people love to reap but not sow.
