Songbird is an instrumental song by American Jazz Saxophonist Kenny G, from his 1986 fourth studio album Duotones.

He wrote the song and co-produced it with Preston Glass and Narada Michael.

Arista Records released the track as the third single from the album in March 1987, and it became the first instrumental to reach the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 since 1985.

It also reached Number 3 on the Adult Contemporary chart as well as Number 23 on the R&B chart.
