Lindsay Lohan, like Chris Brown, could face some jail term for not completing her community service.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star was required to undergo 240 hours of unpaid work as a punishment for a reckless driving offense in 2012 and is due to show proof of completion on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
However, insiders have told TMZ she ‘isn’t even close’ to finishing her sentence.
Lindsay was originally due to have finished by a court hearing on November 6, 2014 but her lawyer told the judge at the time she had only done half the hours, prompting the new date to be set.
The ‘Machete’ star will reportedly claim she ran into difficulties because the community service centre in London, England closed for two weeks over the festive season and she was subsequently hospitalised after contracting Chikungunya, a debilitating, untreatable virus caused by mosquito bites.

However, prosecutors may not accept the excuse as she contracted the virus while holidaying in Bora Bora – a time when she could have been completing her community service – and could order a jail sentence.
