Kanu, 3 others arrive at court to hopeful to regain freedom

There was some air of tension at the Federal High Court which sat on Thursday, December 1, to decide if the pro-Biafra leader and some other pro-Biafra agitators, will be granted bail.

Nyako equally refused bail applications made by three other pro-Biafra agitators, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, who are facing trial alongside Kanu.

Meanwhile, the IPOB has described the launch of “Operation Python Dance” by the Nigerian Army as a plot by the federal government and the governors of the south-east zone to unleash terror on its members in the zone.

The group in a statement on Tuesday, November 29, by its media and publicity secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful, noted the launch of the Operation Python Dance is not necessary in any part of south-east because the area already has peace and security, Vanguard reports.

IPOB which suggested the south east governors had fore knowledge of the military operation warned that it will hold the governors responsible if any life is lost due to military presence in the region.
