JAMB Begins Sale of 2016/2017 UTME Registration Forms

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB to commence sale of 2016 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME forms from August 31.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it would commence the sale of 2016 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application forms from 31st August. This is contained in a statement by the board’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin and made available to newsmen on Monday in Lagos.

A statement released by the board’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin informed candidates that they can begin the purchase of their forms, priced N5,000, at designated banks among which are Zenith Bank, Skye Bank, Union Bank, First Bank as well as NIPOST, as from Aug. 31 to Jan. 15, 2016.

Candidates are also to pay N500 to obtain the textbook, The Last Days at Forcados High School’. ”Candidates will, however, be issued the book at the point of registration after showing evidence of payment,” the statement said. The 2016 UTME had been slated to commence on Feb.29 and end on March 14, 2016.

The statement said the board had advised all prospective candidates to ensure they obtained the application forms early as well as fill their personal data correctly to avoid any mixup.
