Nenita sqeezed herself under the thick blanket on Tomas’ bed. But that didn’t prevent her whole body from shivering.

She had been suffering from high fever for days.

Yes she’s on personal medication but it isn’t helping matters; her condition was getting worst as days pass by.

Tomas felt her temperature using his bare skin, her body temperature was high above normal.

This made Tomas worried, he pray nothing bad happens to her.

Tomas: Neni, are you still having headaches?

Nenita: (shivering mightily; she opened her mouth to speak but words were far from her vocals)

door opens

Tomas: ma’am Naomi?

Voice: no sir, its me, Samuel….the clinic doc has arrived.

Tomas: (sighs) hmmmm where is ma’am Naomi?

Simon: she’s at the clinic with doc….i was asked to bring Nenita.

Tomas: okay then…..careful please.

Giving the condition of the orphanage clinic, Tomas knew Nenita wouldn’t be getting the best treatment.

Oh! How he wish money is not som rare item!!!

Why is life always like this? Somethings would never be available When you need them the most aaaarrhh.

Dear God, please don’t let Neni….d….die?

He prayed silently.

Nikky arrived D&W bar at exactly 2:09pm.

Rodelio was already seated, waiting for her.

They exchanged pleasantries and she sat opposite him.

Heavy cloud of silence invaded them for atleast 5minutes until Rodelio came to the rescue……

Rodelio: why were you looking so sad yesterday?

Nikky: you don’t know why? I’d tell you…its ‘coz the jerk seated before me, poured me his carefree attiude.

Rodelio: (smiling) far from that! You weren’t in a good state even before that incident….

Nikky: why? Have you been stalking me?

Rodelio: do you know Isaiah Guidotti?

Nikky: never knew such a name exist.

Rodelio: you’ar lying aint you?

How are you related to him?

Nikky: i don’t know what you’ar talking about!

Rodelio: (kept smiling devilishly)

Nikky: is this why you called me here?…..to ask silly questions? I think i’ve heard enough..am outta here.

She made to leave when Rodelio produced a brown envelope from god knows where…..

Rodelio: you might wanna see this.

Nikky: and what would a jerk like you show me?

She reluctantly collected it from him, and tore open the envelope.

She was shocked when she its content.

Nikky:(now calm) how did you get these???
