Chioma: may I know what you’re doing with 5 of my underwear that you dropped on my bed?

Tobi: underwear?.. oh(laugh) am sorry I didn’t mean to drop your underwear on your bed,I was looking for rag to mop the floor because I mistakenly poured water on the floor..

Chioma:in my wardrobe?

Tobi: y..yes,don’t you have rag in your wardrobe?..

Chioma: (laugh) seriously?, wait a minute, are you trying to steal my underwear?(as I drew closer)

Tobi: what? no,why do you say so?

Chioma: I can see something sticking out of your back pocket..

Tobi:huh,where? (as he looked around his pocket)..
I quickly walked close to him and pulled it out and it was my two dirty underwear..

Chioma: oh my God, Tobi, so you’re a yahoo boy trying to sell my underwear?

Tobi: okay Chioma let make a deal,I will give you 100k if you just give me 1 of those underwear,am not doing anything bad..

I gave him a dirty slap immediately..

Chioma: how dare you, you came to my house to steal my underwear and you’re here telling me you will give me 100k if I give you 1,are you mad (as I raised my hand to slap him again but he caught my hand)..

I took to my heels to run, he caught my ankle immediately which made me fell down flat to the floor..

Chioma: let me gooo(as I yelled untop of my voice)..
he quickly covered my mouth with his palm for me not alert the neighbors, I bite his hand with my teeth..

Tobi: ahhhh(he yelled in pain)..

he quickly brought out a red handkerchief from his back pocket and covered my nose,immediately I blacked out..

he picked me up and arranged me on the bed.

Tobi: I need the underwear she’s wearing now because that one is still fresh,lemme undress her quickly before anybody comes..

Adam’s POV

I entered chioma’s gate and walked to the front door, I knocked but no reply, knocked again, no reply..
*
Adams: wait did Chioma and her mum went out that I don’t know?
*
I dialed her number again, it kept ringing but she didn’t pick..
Adams? (I heard my name immediately), I turned and saw her mum coming into the compound..

Adams: good afternoon ma..
*
Mum: how are you Adams?, did you come to see Chioma?
*
Adams: yes ma I’ve been calling her phone but she’s not picking that why I decided to come see her..
*
Mum: maybe she’s watching TV inside and left her phone in her room..
*
Adams: I’ve been knocking but she haven’t answered..
*
Mum: let go inside am tired
*
I quietly pushed the door and it opened, we both entered..
*
I saw chioma’s phone on the couch with the light still on..
*
Adams:this is her phone nah(pointing to the couch)

mum: maybe she’s in her room,go and check,I need to drink a chilled bottle of water,the sun is too hot (as she entered the kitchen)

Adams: something don’t feel right,I need to find out what Chioma is up to..
I walked slowly towards her door and pushed it open,what I like about her door is that whenever it opens it never creaks

Adams: what the..(I whispered) as I saw a guy taking of chioma’s panties and dipped it into his back pocket together with some others on her bed,I looked at his back and saw TOBI written at his back..

I swear this guy is going to jail,I quickly brought out my phone and video for 6 seconds..

Adams: who the hell are you (I screamed) and ran towards him, immediately he turned to look at me,i dived to his waist and sent him to the ground..

Adams: what have you done to my girlfriend (as I punched him on the face with all the anger I’ve been storing for him for long),you want to use her for ritual,(as I landed another punch on his face till he started bleeding..

mum:Adams what is going on?, is everything okay?(as she ran into the room),Jesus chioma (as she covered her mouth with her palm)

mum:who is this guy?

Adams: pls call the police fast,he came to steal her underwear(as I dragged him up),he quickly pushed me to the side and ran out knocking chioma’s mum on the floor..
I ran out after him, he opened the front door and ran out, I followed him, he got to the gate and was struggling to wriggle the iron to pull it up,before I got to him him pulled it open and ran out..
I ran out and started shouting..

Adams: OLE OOO,THIEF THIEF,SOMEBODY CATCH HIM..
I trust our fellow Nigerians they ran after him like an armed robber,somebody at his front set his feet at his way and he tripped over and fell to his face and they started beating him with planks and slap and punches..

chioma’s mum bursted out of her gate shouting..

Adams: pls you people hold him, he blacked out my friend and took more than 5 of her underwear to use for ritual..

somebody ran into a nearby house and brought a huge tyre,they threw it on his head immediately,somebody quickly hopped on a bike to go buy fuel from the filling station..

Adams: Chioma (I whispered), I quickly ran inside and saw her about waking up,I quickly ran and sat down beside her,she finally realized herself and shouted immediately..

Chioma:Adams save me,pls save me,pls save me (as she hugged me tight), Tobi has taken my underwear, his taken my underwear,pls help me collect it, his going to use me for ritual..

Adams:Chioma don’t worry, we already got him..
then I realized her jeans and panties we’re off,I could view her vaginal with my naked eye..

Chioma: yes sir,we attend the same music school where we are in the same class, so he said he wanted to know my house so I agreed as a friend..

police: you will have to follow us to
the station to write your statement.

Chioma: what?station?,I didn’t do anything nah..

mum: Chioma they are not arresting you, it just for you to report what happened by writing it down on a sheet of paper given to you in the police station..

I was on the couch crying when my mum entered..

I quickly picked up my phone from the couch where I left it and dialed his number..
it ringed as I dialed it over 5 times but but didn’t pick…
oh God, what have I gotten myself into?,I wish I had listened to Adams from the beginning, but I kept shouting at him to give me some privacy,Adams pls am sorry(as I bursted into tears)

Sean’s POV

after school I entered my and quickly changed into a white T-shirts and an Ankara short, I took off my school shoes and put on a white tennis shoes..
I have to get something for mj,I drove around and saw an ice cream parlor,I quickly parked, remove my ATM card before entering the store..
I walked to the counter, I told the cashiers the size of ice cream bowl I want and was waiting for it when I felt a tap on my shoulder..
I turned and saw a cute slim girl smiling at me..

Sean: hello do I know you?

do you remember me monica?( the girls said)..

Sean:am sorry you met the wrong person..

Monica: you came for a photo shoot last week at lekki,remember the the girl you insulted after I spilled drink on your shirt?..

Sean: you really stained my shirt you know, that shirt is very expensive, I bet you can’t afford it,if not that I was in a good mood then, I would have given you to wash it..

Sean: we are in an an ice cream store and you’re asking me what I came to bye,noo I came to buy agbo..

she collected her ice cream in a tray and and brought out her her purse to pay.

I collected my ice cream in a branded nylon and paid for both of us through my card..

Sean: okay I’ll see you around (as I turned to leave)..

the security helped in directing me as i reversed out of the the parking lot,I looked at his face, he looked like somebody that haven’t eaten since morning, I quickly beeped my horn and whined down my tinted glass, he ran to me like immediately, I picked up #200 in between my seat and handed it to him..

I got to the hospital and parked outside as I carried the nylon along with me into the hospital.

the receptionist saw me and recognized me immediately..

Sean: hi?, am here to see mj..

receptionist: sure you can go in(as she looked at me lustfully).,I ignored her stupid flirty moves,this is not the first time a girl flirt with me..
I ran up the stairs till i got to mj’s door,I peeped into her room and saw that she’s asleep..
I entered quietly and sat down on the chair beside her,I watched her as she sleeps like an angel,but when she’s awake she’s something else,u stood up and have her a peck on the cheek,immediately I sat down she slowly opened her eyes,immediately she saw me a huge smile crossed her face immediately..

Sean: for as long as I could hear you snore..

Sean: like pig (as i bursted into laughter).

mj:what is this(as she peered into the nylon), oh my God (laugh), you bought me ice cream?

mj:because i love you (laugh)..yes sean I will be your girlfriend.

I got to the academy early as students we’re still flocking around, I looked around for Adams but his nowhere to be found.
lucky enough I saw Veronica sitting alone busy with her phone, I walked close to her and sat close to her.
I brought out my phone to pretend am pressing..

Veronica:(sigh) Chioma what do you want?
*
I turned to look at her..
*
Chioma: did I tell you I want anything?
*
Veronica: alright can do me a Favour by waiting for me at the restroom after class?
*
Chioma: uhh, sorry why?
*
Veronica: I have something I have to tell you, so will you come?
*
Chioma: sure I will come (I said with a smile)..
*
Veronica: good,don’t keep me waiting (as she tapped me on my shoulder and stood up to leave)..

Chioma: sorry before you leave, have you seen Adams?
*
Veronica: he told me his not feeling well,so I guess his at home (as she cart walked away)..

but Adams was fine when he came to my house, and why does Veronica wants me to see her in the restroom after class?..
I kept pondering through these thought as I joined the crowd to class..
