Smith : Truth is, from the first day I saw you I was smitten by you, those brown eyes threw me into a depth of feelings that I don’t truly understand. But after some thinking have found out that this feeling is actually love joy. I want to let you into my heart joy and I request you do the same with yours. I don’t care what you do, or what you have done before or I care about is the person and not the person experiences. In a nutshell I’m asking you to be my girlfriend and if nothing comes otherwise to later become my wife.

Joy : (stunned) wow, I must confess all this have blown me way, but I would really ask you for sometime to think about this, I mean I don’t know if I will be able to bear what am stepping into.

Smith : There’s nothing to worry about, nobody will judge you and how many people really know what you do exactly.

Joy : Don’t worry, I will give you my reply tomorrow.

Smith : Hope it will be a positive reply.

Joy : Tomorrow shall tell.

JOY'S ROOM
Only Joy and Oyibo were inside sitting on the bed.

Joy : He asked me to be his girlfriend..

Oyibo : (surprised) Wow, this is really going so way, even though I know the answer already, what did you say to him.

Joy : I told him I will think about it,but on a serious note I really like him, even if I don’t have any ulterior motive I would have still accepted.

Oyibo : You like him?

Joy : Is even more than like, I love him?

Oyibo : (surprised) Really? What about your darling chinedu which you told me about.

Joy : That’s the problem, on one hand I feel like am betraying him and on the other hand I seriously don’t know where my feelings lies for him again.

Oyibo : What you had with him was first love,believe me or not first love doesn’t really work. You feel like you are betraying him, but what if he has already betrayed countless times at that side.

Joy : I think I’m going to bed now.

Oyibo : OK, my dear.
