Hannah And I - S01 E01 (Story Episode)

Tick..Tock was the first sound I heard as I opened my eyes to see another bright day. I am a boy of 17y/o, I would be resuming to my new school today. I heard my mum call me for morning devotion, I quickly got up from the bed to meet the rest of my family. We are a family of seven including my parents. I am the third after my first two sisters, I am the first male child of the family. I have two younger siblings; Ayo, a boy and Christianah, a girl who is the last born… Oh! My bad… My name is Oluwafemi but my friends call me Phemloid, as I have said, I am the third child of my parents.

After the morning devotion, I went to my room to freshen up for “the new world of education” as I want to start a new life in a new school.

You might be wondering why I want to start the session in a new school, it’s due to change of residence. We moved to our house recently and my former school is quite far from our house.

I got dressed in a black and white stripped shirt, wore my Jean trousers which was gifted to me by my girlfriend and a black sneakers. I got up and carried my bag in readiness for Prestige College and for a new challenge. The ride to school from home is about 7-10 minutes. During the ride, I sat at the back of the car thinking about Susan, my girlfriend. I met her at my former school, she was the first girl that spoke to me when I arrived at my ex school. We started as friends but later, she confessed her feelings to me.

Since it’s a mutual feelings, that’s how our relationship started. I started thinking of what would happen to her now that I have left her. I am really missing her. The police van siren jolted me back from my thought. I could see they were escorting a bullion van. Lagos is a very beautiful city one would want to visit.

Finally, we arrived at the gate of the school, the gatekeeper allowed us entrance. Wow! What a beautiful school, I thought.
