Some people in this world are sure evil, I couldn’t believe after all that work I put in that design, They still didn’t choose mine, Mine was the best but they choose some inferior stuff and to top that, The person whose design was chosen was a relative of one of the model stylist! So everything was planned from the start! Corrupted bastards, I hate losing like this.

I couldn’t wait for them to finish announcing the results, I drove back home to Lagos! I was so furious and angry that could kill someone, Chris called me several times but I didn’t bother to pick! I was just so pissed off right now! Spending money and time on a design was gone to waste! God! I hate this country…

I drove all the way to Lagos without bothering to answer the calls of people calling me, I was really not in the mood to talk to anyone, But it wasn’t their fault, everyone I knew wished me success, so I shouldn’t be angry at them, I calmed my mind, and forgot about those corrupted bastards, they could go to hell, I don’t need them anyway.

I arrived at Lagos at night, I couldn’t go home so I decided to spend the night with Chris!

I reached his house and decided to have a good time with him to cool my raging anger.

As I reached the door of his house, I heard something that made my heart beat rapidly , Chris was moaning and there was a female voice inside, it was so familiar, just then I recognized who it was, Dolores!

I continued listening to what was going on in there! Chris was still groaning like he was enjoying something and that b---h said she was going to handle it like a professional! I work my ass off everyday of my life to get to where I was and speaking of the design, I lost the gig, they cheated on the whole thing, the results were already fixed, Do you know how it feels to have your dreams taken away from you? I come back expecting a big welcome to cool my loss and anger but instead you’re having a good time with another woman! Why Chris? Why? I trusted you but you failed me, I guess I was wrong, Goodbye……. (cries)

I left Chris and went to my car and drove straight to my shop , I was just so sad and heartbroken, I needed a place to stay alone, I soon arrived there and opened the shop, I turned on the lights and went to my office crying my heart out, I hate everything and everyone, Why was life so difficult, I did everything possible to make my life a better one, Why was this all happening to me? Why? Don’t I deserve better? I deserve better, I deserve the best…

Later, I called Stephanie and told her everything, I needed someone to talk to, someone to tell me what to do next, a guide to lead me to the right path, I just need someone desperately! I couldn’t believe I was saying this but I wished Chris was here…..

After Elizabeth, I felt sorry for her, it was sad watching her fall apart like that, I shouldn’t have said those words to her!

I went back inside the house and there was Dolores standing, I couldn’t blame her for what happened, She had done nothing wrong.

Dolores ➡ I’m so sorry Chris, its my fault.

Chris ➡ You shouldn’t apologize, you didn’t do anything wrong, it was my fault.

Dolores ➡ So how did it go?

Chris ➡ She’s angry at me, and probably will never see her again.

Dolores ➡ So what are you going to do?

Chris ➡ What should I do? She won’t accept me back!

Before I could finish, a slap landed on the same spot, Elizabeth slapped me, I was surprised, what had gone into Dolores? I look at her face and saw disgust and anger.

Dolores ➡ Really? So you’re gonna give up? I thought you loved her? I thought you said you were going to marry her?

Chris ➡ You saw how she reacted! She’s been a situation like this, I doubt if she would forgive me!

I was to see Stephanie and from the look on her face, Elizabeth must have told her what happened, and if things don’t go well, Stephanie will ruin me financially since she’s the one sending customers to my shop.

Dolores went back to her house, and I went back inside, I just hope Stephanie talks some sense into Elizabeth, women can be unreasonable at times and as for Dolores, she really saved my ass, and I wish there was a way to repay her.

As I was laying on my bed, I heard cats behind my rwm, they were always disturbing me with their silly noises, I stood up and went behind my room to chase them away, As soon as I flashed lights on their faces, They disappeared climbing the walls to escape.

As soon as they were gone, I noticed a big Grey coloured bag, on the ground, it was dusty and littered with the cats faeces, I went and took my broom to dust it, after that I opened the bag to see what was inside!

As I opened it, I jumped back in surprise , I couldn’t believe what I saw, I went and opened the bag again to make sure it wasn’t an illusion, it was real, the money inside the bag was real! I thanked God and started singing this popular song song by Mayokun and Davido.
