KOLA: Thanks dear, I know you won’t let me down, and yes after today I won’t do it again.

RITA: So where I’m I meeting you or when are you coming?

KOLA: No my princess, don’t worry I will come to pick you myself.

RITA: So when are you coming sir? (smiling)

KOLA: I will leave my house by 10am, a least before 12pm I should be there. What do you think?

RITA: It’s all good, I’m so hungry let me get something to eat, talk to you later.

If I had known that my landlord was going to kick me out that very morning, I wouldn’t have allowed kola to come. After the call with kola I took my brush and water to go and brush and bath. I was in the bath room when a little girl in our compound came to call me that some men and my landlord were throwing my stuff outside. I was surprised the man who calls himself my landlord threaten to throw my things out of last week if I don’t pay him his two years rent that I was owning him. But he was willing to let me stay if I agree to be sleeping with him (gush so disgusting). I turn down his offer I didn’t know he meant his threat. I quickly ran outside with my wrapper around my waist.

RITA: Oga landlord, please don’t do this to me, you know I have nowhere to go to.

LANDLORD: How that one take concern me? See pack your load out of here my house before I ask these my boys to rape and beat you up.

The word rape brought cold to my body, I know it was morning and people were already awake but that doesn’t mean this people can’t harm me. I packed my things together and search for my phone. One of my biggest problem now is I had no place to go. And as a lady sleeping on the street isn’t safe at all. Kola call came in but my eyes was too filled with tears, and my heart bleeds out of pain and shame I couldn’t pick the call. I was just on the floor crying and wishing Mr death will just come and take me to join my parents.
