Continue from the last scene

I guess kola must have called again and she picked and told him to come and help me since she knows I will never ask for help from any man.
when I came out from the bathroom, she told me a young man named kola called and she had to tell him what happen.

RITA: But anuty why? You know this is embarrassing for me, why did you you have to tell him?

MAMA BOLA: Rita, I’m sorry but you and I know you need help, you can’t keep your mouth shut and expect anyone to help you, help sometimes come when you ask for it.

We were still arguing when kola’ drove his car into out yard. I saw him walking straight to my door, I was so ashamed of my situation that I couldn’t call him. It was mama Bola that went and told him I was staying at her place. Kola came in almost immediately forgetting it wasn’t my room.

KOLA: Rita, (he voice full of emotions) I’m so sorry you went through this embarrassment. I kept silent my voice was shaken, my eyes were teary I couldn’t say anything because I didn’t want to cry.

KOLA: Rita, please say something, anything but not this silent please.

He waited for me to say something but when I didn’t he moved closer to me and held my on the shoulder.

KOLA: I know you don’t want me to see you cry, you don’t want to appear weak before me. But Rita I’m going to tell you what you told me last night “it’s fine if you want to cry, I will be here to listen to your pains”

Immediately he said told words I couldn’t hold back anymore, I cried, and cried till I couldn’t breath, so he quickly pull me closer and hugged me.

KOLA: Let it all out baby, don’t keep any butt inside your heart. (rubbing my hair)

RITA: Kola, I’m so hurt (still crying) how can people be so mean and wicked? I don’t have any place to go to. I’m stranded kola. He pulled me from his body then stare in my eyes for a while, then he use his left hand to wipe my tears.

KOLA: Hey common, how can you say you have no place to go? Rita what I told you yesterday I meant it. You have been alone all this years but since we met you have become my family and responsibility. All I ask for is for you to allow me to fill that space mum and dad left in your heart.

RITA: No kola, no matter how you try I can’t fit in in your world, I will always be an outsider and that’s what I fear most.

KOLA: Just give me a chance to be your younger brother, mum and dad Rita please.

RITA: Hmmm, ok and thank you for the care.

KOLA: You are welcome.
