Oviyon thanks him for the best sleep he has had in a long while.
Jonah says he's glad Oviyon came to his senses as he has been begging him to return to Lagos since.
Oviyon says he needed a break.
Jonah says he knows it was because of a woman.
Oviyon says it's more than that,; things have been hectic since after the fire.
Jonah asks what fire.
Oviyon tells him about that night and tells him how Fonton was punished for it.
Jonah says he was in Aji and his father didn't tell him anything.

He tells Oviyon that he has to leave for work and he's thinking Oviyon can call his old business partner for work.

As soon as Jonah leaves, Oviyon sees the little boy and his ball.

Fonton asks Petu for his breakfast.
She asks if she will serve him sand as there is no money.
He reminds him that he just gave her money.
She says it's finished and she needs money for herself, the boys and her sick relative.
He says he doesn't have anything.
She suggests he starts collecting tax.
He asks how.
She says neighbourhood watch shouldn't be free of charge so he needs to start taxing the villagers as he protects the village even more than Otogan and his family.
She says he should be in line to be Chief.
She advises him to start watching Miyinse to see how he behaves so that he can one day be promoted to Chief or even local government chairman.
Fonton exclaims in excitement.

Fonton meets Obi on his farm.
Obi says he almost missed his way.
Fonton tells him to look at the spread of the land.
He says they used to belong to his father.
Obi looks around.
Fonton asks if Otogan told him when he old be getting his land back.
Obi says he doesn't know.
Fonton says as she's teaching him about Aji culture, Obi would also tell him things about himself.
He asks if he knows why Oviyon returned to the village from Lagos.
Obi says if he's looking for such tales, he's sorry to disappoint him.

Fonton sees some boys watching trying to steal from the farm and he shouts at them.
Obi runs after them.

Fonton's boys join him and complain about thieves on the farm.

Obi returns and asks how the boys got there.
They tell him that they were not too far off when they heard Fonton shouting.
Fonton says he's lucky to have his boys around.
Obi asks why the boys ran if they have nothing to hide.
He says he's going to see the chief.
Fonton tells him not to bother the chief with that as his boys will handle it.

Dr. Jide comes to the palace to complain about Senami and how she has grown wings and refuses to come to work.
Otogan says she wouldn't want to be at the clinic because of what happened to her.
Dr. Jide says she hasn't completed her service and she took an oath to save lives.
He complains that the medical supplies they received are either fake or expired and they need another doctor on ground otherwise Otogan will have another riot on his hands.

Peace comes to Iya Oviyon's house.
Iya asks if she has seen Oviyon.
Peace says she saw him pack and leave for Lagos.
Iya slaps her and asks why she didn't call her.

Senami is doing her morning exercise in the living room.
She sees Kingsley watching her.
She stops and asks how long he has been watching her
He says long enough.
He gives her a hand towel to wipe her sweat and tells her that he's been feeling neglected as he's her patient too but hasn't been getting physical therapy with his leg.
She says she will check him, seeing as she's not attending to any other patients.
He says they don't need her as much as he does.
The look he gives her is suggestive.
Senami suddenly becomes very hot and even more sweaty.

Otogan's messenger comes to tell Senami that Otogan wants to see her at the Palace.
She tells him that she will freshen up and come.
He tells her that Otogan never waits for anyone.
She asks him to tell him Otogan to do his worst as she must take a bath and freshen up before coming.

Fonton is addressing the citizens of Aji.
He tells them that the enemies have started raiding their farms and his boys cannot continue to guard the village from thieves except the citizens make some sacrifice.
He says the boys will go about collecting contributions for security levy; that's the only way to make Aji great again.

Obi hides in a corner, watching everything.

Fonton is with his boys.
He asks them what they were doing on the farm.
They tell him the intruders were planted by Half-a-day and he makes all his plans with Petunia.
Fonton exclaims.

Akweyon brings food to Neza.
He calls her a keeper of secrets.
He opens the dish then closes it and pushes it back to her.
He says he doesn't want food for the belly but to feed his curiosity.
She looks at him but her face gives nothing away.
He says he wants to talk about Seyive, her sister.
She's surprised.
He asks what happened to her and how she got involved with Mausi.
She looks away.
He tells her that her sister misses her so she needs to call her and talk to her.
He tells her to remember how life was before, when she used to dance.
She storms out of the hut.

Fonton goes to accuse Petu of planning with Half-a-day behind his back for people to steal from Aji farmers.
She says all she discussed with Half-a-day was that they would come up with something to ensure that Aji farmers pay their share of the contribution.
He says she should have asked him first.
She starts rubbing his head and calling him 'Fonty baby.'
She says Half-a-day has done his job so what's left is for Fonton to let Aji farmers pay what they owe.

Iya Oviyon goes to meet Senami at Kingsley's Place to ask for Oviyon.
Senami says she has no idea where he is but she can call him.

Senami calls and puts the phone on speaker.
Oviyon says he's in Lagos.
Senami and Iya are shocked.
Iya asks why he didn't tell her.
She says her chest hurts.
Senami says he accused her of making a snap decision when she moved out of the lodge but look at what he himself has done.
He says he won't listen to her lectures anymore; she was the same person who left home without letting her parents know where she was.

Iya asks when he would return.
He says he's not sure when he's coming back.
She asks what she would do about her chest.
He says she would have to manage without him.
Senami says she's sure she would be just fine.
He says he was talking to his mother.
Senami says she doesn't even care anymore so he can do what he wants.
He says okay and he ends the call.

Senami is clearly hurt.
Iya Minasu laughs and cries home.
