I ransacked the bag to check if joe deposited the remnants of the money in there.

The only money i saw was N500.I suspected joe, but how will he take the money? He would have told me when i called. What about the girls? How will they know i kept money in the envolope?

I picked up my phone and called joe.

I had suspected him but the way he spoke made me cancel my suspicion. All fingers now pointed to the three girls. Was it evelyn or amaka or vivian?

And about N1000 for transport and expenses remaining N45000. Joe gave the ashawo N30000. Imagine! I knew he was lying. Joe took out N5000 for whatever.

The remaining amount i was suppose to be left with was N10000. Now where will 10k travel to? I already planned buying foodstuffs.

I reluctantly packed all the things i removed from the bag in search of the missing money in.

Ranging from documents to laptop etc.

The knock came again. Who the knock. It wasnt joe, he would have come right in. was it landlord or cockroach or who?

I took my bag and approached the door.

Opening, i saw a very beautiful, well package babe. A black beauty who was well endowed chestically. I wasnt opportuned to see her bakasi since her front faced me. Not lekpa and not orobo, just average.

I stared like a moroon still she broke the silence.

“please can i see the landlord?” she said shaking her head slowly.
“ya.. Why not…. let me show you….” i led her to oga’s house. We knocked and got no response. I seized the opportunity to try my luck.
“hi… Am man on fire oh sorry am blue… ” i stutterd. Chaii see fucck up. See embarrasment. Dunno why i was just disgracing my self like that.

She smiled. “chioma”
“chioma igbo right?” i asked foolishly. She giggled.
“ya. Actually i am a student… uniuyo… I dont like campus i prefer alone…” she said resting her back on the pillar.

The day i rested on that pillar oga nearly kill me saying i want to break and collapse his house.

“300level” she replied. We discussed about many things.

I knocked at the door intervally.

When i told her i was a graduate i saw surprise in her eyes. She never believed i was one judging from the way i started my greetings.

I forgot where i was going totally.

The door opened and oga came out with an angry look on his face, he was on wrapper.

The angry look disappeard when his darted to the beauty by his pillar, oga the old man was grinning sheepishly at chioma.
