Sandra slammed her palm on her forehead as she settled down on the backseat of Tomie’s car. She had been moving from one location to another with him. She checked the time and heaved a sigh. She still had some two hours before she was done for the day. She checked the schedule to check where they were heading to. She couldn’t dare to ask him for the last time she did, she had received some mouth lashing and she had been embarrassed.

One thing about the famous actor she had come to discover was that he was very serious during working hours. He would scream at her whenever he was rehearsing and wanted her to leave, there was even a day he had slapped her when he found out she was receiving calls during working hours. He always reminded her he had paid for her service and the ‘Bleeping hours’(like he used to say) she spent with him. Whenever she was done with work, he would flirt with her till he was done.
“Sandra!” Tomie called out, looking so mad and upset. He had been calling her since forever already. Sandra wound the glass of the car up and packed the necessary files needed for the work at hand. He was going to be advertising for ‘Luna’ milk company. He had signed a contract worth a million naira with them ever since he agreed to be the face of Luna milk and also their ambassador.

She got down and looked down at her feet, looking stupid. She looked up when fingers caressed her disorganized hair. He blew his gum to her face and pushed her forward. She hastened her steps and made sure she got to the door of the company first. She opened the door as soon as he reached it. She just wished he wouldn’t chop off her head throughout the thirty minutes advertizing session.

“For heaven’s sake, why have you been rejecting my calls?”
“you ‘ve stopped visiting me and you’ve just.. look, you are now changed Sandra” Wole barked furiously, walking to and fro like a restless dog.

“Thanks for rubbing it in. I guess I can always count on you to make me feel better after a stressful day” Sandra yelled, clicking her tongue and raising her eyebrows high.

Wole sank into the chair and sighed. He didn’t even understand her anymore. He couldn’t say she was reacting due to what happened weeks ago at his mother’s place or she was just tired and frustrated because of her new job. He had told her not to work with Tomie anyway. The Nollywood actor was well known for his bad boy roles both in films and reality but his dear Juliet wouldn’t listen to him. Wole breathed sharply and walked to her. He sat down beside her and fingered her roughly curled tendrils.

“Sandra, we have to talk”
“I am not talking!”
“I said we have to talk!” he said, almost in a scream as his voice rose some octaves.
“Wole, please leave. I am tired and need to rest. We have five locations to go to tomorrow and its going to be really hectic for me so please leave” she said irritatedly and rose to go to her room.

“Sandra. I have heard enough! You have to choose between your relationship and your stupid job cause it seems you love spending time with him now and you seem tired of me.

So choose and I mean now!”
“Oh really? That is it right? It would definitely interest you to know that I’ll choose my job over and over again!”
