“What happened?” Humaira asked him, noticing the look on his face.

“It’s just the thought of this whole thing. The fact that I almost died.” he said.
His parents were attentive.

“I think you should rest. This has happened all of a sudden. You might need to see a doctor too.”

his father suggested.

“I think so too.” agreed Sadiq.

When he logged into his facebook account, Vanessa was online and saw his name pop up in
the chat menu. She was shocked! She refreshed to make sure she saw right and after it loaded,
his name disappeared from the chat menu.
For a moment she wondered if Asmau’s claim was true. She knew it was such a delicate matter
that won’t be joked with. She couldn’t call Asmau’s parents to confirm, what if Asmau was
just doing what all teenagers do at their age which was to play pranks, what if it was a prank
and she called her parents and they get hurt.
She ranged Asmau’s phone. It ranged several times without Asmau picking. The phone was
lying on the chair, on silent mode. Vanessa gave up. She was supposed to travel to Nigeria next week for her wedding preparation. She would have to wait till then to find out what
was really going on.

Alhaji Najib and Anty had already been called and informed about the new development.

“It’s a miracle.” was all they could say.

It was a miracle because, out of all the people, it was the man who Alhaji Najib had been trying to get in contact with that Sadiq wandered into.

It was a miracle because to Alhaji Najib God used Sadiq and the incident to solve his financial problem. It couldn’t have been a coincidence, no way! The way it happened, the way one thing led to another and three families were affected in a good way by just one incident, that’s a miracle.

Several hours later Alhaji Ibrahim arrived Lagos with his wife and their little daughter; Hauwa,
who Sadiq saved. They located the house and climbed the stair case. As soon as they stepped
foot into the house, as soon as their eyes met with that of Sadiq’s parents, there was a look on
the two parents faces, a look that suggested that they knew each other.

“Danladi?” Mr. Animashaun said pointing at Alhaji Ibrahim.

“Animashaun? Allah sariki!” Alhaji Ibrahim said too, each realizing that they knew the other.

A warm handshakes and hugs were exchanged and the two women likewise embraced themselves.

They all knew each other.

“What’s going on? Do you know each other?” asked Sadiq.

“Yes.” Mr. Animashaun said. Then he faced Alhaji Ibrahim. “So you are the famous Alhaji Ibrahim that everyone has been talking about?

The business tycoon?”
“That’s me.” he smiled.
“But we knew you as Danladi back then.” said Mr. Animashaun.
“Danladi was just a common name everyone called me. When the money started coming I
maintained my real name.” he explained.
