“Me too!” she replied back and she immediately called Jennifer, Jennifer called Eze and on and on it went.

The following day Mr. and Mrs. Animashaun and Mr. and Mrs. Ibrahim visited the neighbor house and Mr. Ibrahim introduced himself to the man.

A little conversation followed and after Alhaji Ibrahim mentioned a certain figure, the man knew if he didn’t accept this offer then there must be a big witch in his village that doesn’t want his progress. It was a crazy figure, a figure which was enough for the man to build at least four of same duplex and still have a reasonable amount left.

“If I may ask, why do you want to pay so much for this house” the man asked Alhaji Ibrahim.

“Family is important, and we really don’t choose family, we are born into them. But sometimes
even the greatest of family are those who aren’t bonded by blood, but by mutual love irrespective of ethnicity or race. We are bonded together and I will pay any price to be closer to this family.”

Money exchanged hands, papers were signed and exchanged and the house was bought.

Sadiq was in haste to travel. He wanted to leave for Kano as soon as possible to see Zeenat, but since
Vanessa was coming today, he decided to wait till she arrived.

Hours later the door bell rang and standing outside was a brutally pretty lady!

“Jennifer!” Sadiq exclaimed on seeing her.

Things were awkward for minutes till she became aware of the whole incident.

Few hours later Eze arrived and later Vanessa accompanied by Kross. The friends were caught
in minutes of embrace and exchange of words and adoration. To say it was a beautiful sight
would be a gross understatement.

After hugs and kisses were exchanged, they departed for the airport. Sadiq’s friends decided
to tag along so did the whole family.

By past four they arrived at Kano. They took a taxi from Murtala Muhammed airport straight to
Alhaji Najib’s house. Alhaji Najib and his family were already expecting them. They were waiting
outside, and so was Kazim. He was wearing their native attire ‘baba riga’ sewed with great style
and beside him was a lady who without any introduction one could tell they were a couple.

The three families hugged and exchanged pleasantries. Anty and Alhaji Najib couldn’t hold
back their tears when Sadiq embraced them.

When Sadiq had being freed, he exited the house with Humaira, Kazim and Asmau, heading to
Zeenat’s house. The house was full with a number of people. It was very obvious to the eyes
that an event was taking place.
