Two years after that,Fiona was brought into the world,and the exact opposite of her sister. Fiona always wanted to know more,always inquisitive, which surprising to him,he found it admiring. She loved pink barbie dolls and would always sing it like a song to him that she wanted a barbie gown.

Fiona was girlish,wanted more barbie dolls whereas,Tiara wanted a plane.

Fiona would cry at any little thing and whenever she cried,one who didn’t listen well would think she was singing.

He loved his nieces and wanted to protect them and care for them and provide for them and support them but when he found out d!ckson’s secret and told Peggy,who was devastated, he expected Peggy to ask d!ckson for a divorce but was more shocked when Peggy had called to tell him she was pregnant.

“Who are you going to pick? Your brother or Tiara?”,Liza asked.

Pedro smiled,since Tiara doesn’t want to say anything and pretending to be reading the note, he give his honest answer- Pedro thought to himself.
“I pick my brother and if you choose to come after my brother, Kendrick, I will protect him and maybe fight back”
Everyone saw that Tiara was taken aback,couldn’t utter a word. Pedro’s phone rang,he clicked the receive button “Yes,speaking”,he paused “Tell me you’re not joking”,his face lit up as the person on the other hand to confirm the good news “Of course, I want to!”,he exclaimed happily “I’ll be right there”,he paused for the caller to finish his or her statement “Of course, I’m coming right now. Thank you”,he paused to laugh “You’ve made my day. What am I saying? you’ve made my year!!”,he laughed again. “Thank you”,he said again as the caller said something that made him laugh even louder. He ended the call with smiles.
“Excuse me”,he said to no one in particular and walked out of the sitting room leaving Tiara fuming with concealed anger. He left without saying anything to her. Nobody needed to tell her Pedro was angry at her but Why? and why was he happy?
Of course, she knew the answer to the first question but the second one got her jealous.
“I think we should plan a way to kill Kendrick but Pedro would be a problem. We should take care of Pedro first”,Liza broke the awkward silence that retained after Pedro had left.
It had been two days since Pedro had walked out on her or had left her standing in the sitting room in awe- whichever suits for she can’t quite put a name to what had transpired and he hadn’t called her though she vowed never to call him, willing him to get tired eventually but the opposite had become the case.

Tiara tossed and picked up her phone from the bedside table, she scrolled Pedro’s contact and dialled. Her heart leaped to her mouth when his line vegan ringing as she kept thinking what she was going to say when he answers. She didn’t hold unto that thought for long when Pedro’s husky voice came ringing through her ears.
“Tiara?”, he called
“Pedro”, Tiara answered
“Tiara”
“Pedro, um….I…. um haven’t seen you for sometime now”
“You noticed?”
“Yes, I noticed”
“I thought you were so driven with your revenge mission”
Tiara opened her mouth to say something and closed it.
“Look,Tiara, I don’t know why you called me but I’m actually busy. So if that’s all, I’d like to hang up now”
“Why are you angry?”, Tiara whispered
“Mad?, Mad….dies not begin to explain how I felt when you let Elizabeth say those offending words. And news flash, I don’t work for you anymore, I work for my family, for my blood”
“Could we talk about this tomorrow? At my house?”
“One p.m. I will be there”
Pedro hung up.
She let out the air she hadn’t realized she’d been holding and cursed herself for behaving like a clingy teenager.

She didn’t know how she had slept but she was sure she had tossed and turned for most of the dreadful night but seeing the morning sunshine through the windows into her room, she knew she’d be happy under different circumstances but she was filled with rage and anger at everybody. Angry at Pedro for leaving her the way he had left and for that godforsaken phone call that made him happy, making her wonder who the caller was…..a boy or girl? certainly a girl.
Anger at Liza for behaving like a little spoiled brat who best words at present were”Kill” and “Death”
She was angry at Fiona for taking their father’s word for granted.
And her Uncle…… Well, she had nothing to say about him.

Choosing from a stack of clothes, she picked a plum orange dress that stopped at the middle of her thigh and clung to her every curves. She knew she chose that outfit for Pedro. She dabbled a little mascara, a light eye shadow and a purple lipstick. Standing in front of the mirror, she checked her reflection and looked beautiful and giving nothing away.
She headed back to the closet to pick out a black high heeled shoe and headed down the stairs. The clock above says 12:17pm. She scolded herself when she calculated she had used three hours to dress for Pedro.
She could swear she didn’t hear come in
“Wow. You look….. Wow”, Liza announced
“Oh”
“Are you heading out?”
“I think so”
“With who?”, Liza asked jumping
Tiara didn’t get to answer when the bell rang and she breathe a sigh of relief- save by the bell.
“See who is it”,she ordered Liza.

She jumped from her seat when two people, one of which she recognized walked into her sitting room.
The older one smiled when he saw the look of recognition on Tiara’s face.
“You must be Elizabeth Michaels”, he said in a fast way.
“Who is this?”, Liza said trying to bring Tiara to attention.
The older looked down at Tiara “Aren’t you gonna introduce us, Tiara?”
She cleared her voice
“Liza, this is Garvin Saunders. Your Uncle”
Liza gaped at Garvin, her mouth forming ‘O’
“Yes. Now let me introduce my companion. Come”, he held out his hand for other young man to take it and stepped forward.
“This is Aiden Michaels. Your brother”, Garvin said using Tiara’s words.
