He watched Tiara as she sank unto the sofa behind her, pleased with himself and how much his information seemed to have affected her. He stole a glance at Elizabeth, her face looked like she was going to explode in a nanosecond. He sat down uninvitedly. This was going to be a lovely meeting after all. He couldn’t help but pat himself on the shoulder.

Tiara Michaels hadn’t planned for this and wouldn’t have seen it coming in a thousand years to come,
She had a brother?! Aiden?
This is so absurb.
Why hadn’t her dad told them, perphaps because it was a lie, all fabcricated by their uncle.
Everything had gone south!

She looked toward Aiden and he looked right back at her with eyes that gave nothing away. He looked like someone who had it all and one can tell from the easy way he crossed his legs at the ankle and his index finger gently caressing his bottom lip and maybe smiling at her. What the hell is he smiling for? Does anyone think any of this is some kind of fun?
Perphaps he knew d!ckson was his father- No, she had to stop saying that. Both Aiden and Garvin are liars but why didn’t he attend d!ckson’s funeral.
“I was out of the country from the time dad was having a rough time, to Peggy’s illness and her death and then his. And dad’s burial”, Aiden said as if on cue, answering her unspoken quesion.
“You know Peggy, my mum?”, was Liza’s voice
Without taking his eyes off Tiara, he said “Yes. I met with her once or twice… I can’t really remember. She was a nice lady”, breaking the eye contact, he looked up at Liza “You had a nice mother” and he returned his eyes back to Tiara.
“You have lots of questions. Now we can hear ‘em one after the other. Let’s go”, his voice was too clear, Tiara noticed.

She sat up and scolded herself once more for letting a stranger unsettle her in her own house.
“This is a joke”, Tiara spat out, not believing herself.
He almost laughed “Well, I didn’t expect that. I mean, of course, that wasn’t a question but this isn’t a joke. I am your blood and-”
“And you expect to show up now?”, now she maintained her cool.
“Believe me I would have shown up sooner than this but I figured that dad never told you guys about me”
Tiara turned her face away from him.
“He was my dad too”, he said reading the hidden expressing on Tiara’s face.
“He did everything a dad would do to his son. He paid for my school until he had to dissolve his patnership. He was a father to me”
“Yeah until Garvin changed all that and made it hell on earth for us”
Garvin broke his silence “It was ‘Unlce Garvin’ when you were a kid”
“You killed my parents!”, Liza shouted
“Elizabeth, baby, as interesting as it would be to have a chat and maybe an arguement with you but now’s not the time. I think this talk is for adults, so why don’t you go into your bedroom and play with some toy or read some books and while you’re at it, get me a glass of something strong”, and half jokingly, he added “And don’t slip some poison in because I will have you taste it before I drink it. Off you go now”
Tiara stood atonished to see Liza actually heading toward the stairs. Garvin always had an air of authority around him. People see themselves doing what he orders them to do but she wasn’t sure Garvin would be getting that drink.
“I have nothing to say to you”, Tiara said after Liza’s footsteps had faded.

“Well, well, well. I have many things to say to you. Starting with you should let go of this your revenge crap”
“Revenge?”, she asked innocently
“Tiara-“, he laughed “Paul’s now a vegetable, Robert’s dead and you’re going after Daniel now. And maybe me”
“So you’re here to beg”
