The next morning, the news was seen on N-------d and some blogs with the headline ”Robbery gone wrong” and below was written ”suspected gang of armed robbers attempted to rob the guests in Transcorp hilton, but unfortunately for them, the SARS (Special Anti Robbery Squad) of the Nigerian Police intervened before they could make away with any valuable, two of the robbers and a police man were left dead during a gun battle between the police and the armed robbers”
Lor’d V was in his room reading news on the internet when he came across the report.

Lor’d V: (scoffs) All these fake bloggers and rumour carriers, they will never cease to amaze me, how did they even hear of it?
Vanessa: (walks in on him talking to himself), hey, whatsup, why are you talking to yourself.
Lor’d V: sorry sweetheart, it’s just all this fake news flying around on the internet.
Vanessa: have u become a journalist, or a reporter, how did you know it’s fake?
Lor’d V: i even forgot to mention it to you, yesterday night Three young guys attempted to kill Jay.
Vanessa: oh my God! Hope he is safe?
Lor’d V: (smiles) he doesn’t even know anything about it, the guys were the ones that put the tracking device in his wristwatch.
Vanessa: i thought you said you gave the wristwatch to your friends, i am a lil bit confused here.
Lor’d V: when I said friend, i meant the police, afterall, the police is your friend.
Vanessa: tell me about it, how did they catch them.

Lor’d V: well, at first i wanted to throw the tracking device into the bush on our way here, but i changed my mind and decided to give it to the police so i can actually find out who put the tracking device in the wristwatch, the police cooperated well, to make everything real i put a car and a fake plate number that looks exactly like Jayjay’s in the packing lot and i talked to the receptionist to alert the police who were around the hotel wearing mufti, if anyone come’s to look for Jayjay, and that was it, they fell into my trap.
Vanessa: wow, you are so smart, i can’t even imagine them succedding and leaving Jayjay dead.
Lor’d V: that can never happen, not on my watch.

Vanessa: is Jayjay aware of all this at all?
Lor’d V: no, he isn’t, he has alot on his hands, i can’t bother him with this one i will deal with this myself.
Vanessa: Just be careful, okay?
Lor’d V: yes mummy, i will be leaving for the police station at exactly 10 AM, but before then let me go and check on my cute son…(winks at her and left the room)
