“Faster! Faster please” The event planner’s voice woke me up. ‘Wow. Is it morning already? Am getting married today!” I squealed with glee as i shoved the duvet aside.Alex had dropped me at my house last night so It could be easier for me to prepare for the wedding.

Last night was everything. The lovemaking with Alex was magical.

Nothing like what I had with James. For the first time in my life, I truly understood what making love was like. Alex showed it to me in different ways. It was just everything.

I picked up my phone from the bedside table and saw three missed calls from Alex. I called him back immediately but he didn’t pick up.

Then, I saw the message he had sent.

“I thought you said you would not sleep at all till dawn. Now, you ain’t picking up because you are snoringggg. See you at the alter anyways, I love you”

I looked outside my room’s window and saw the car that would be driving me to the church being decorated. I saw a van loading some drinks and wine into it, guess it was going to the reception venue. “Good morning bride. Mrs Adetola Alex Akinlolu” came my mom’s thrilling voice. I smiled as I moved to the edge of the bed. Tears rolled down my cheeks when my eyes fell on the wheelchair decorated with in red and silver. My sparkling white wedding bouquet on it. It very well complemented my beautiful gown hung in the rack just in front of my bed’s foot.
