I woke up the next day , after a long night. Alves was nowhere to be found. Guess he had already left for school. I quickly took my bath, wore my normal cloth and left for school which was just a 10 mins walk. I arrived at the hall, but late. I tried entering into the lecture hall, buh the lecturer who was teaching them shouted at me…….

Lecturer: hey stop there, who re u and why entering my class without permission.

Me: *stammering* sir sir am so-ory. Am n-ew in th-is school.

Lecturer: that’s not an excuse, why re u late? Dont u know that lectures starts around 9am and what’s the time?

Me: sir *looked at my watch* emmmmm 10;21am.

Lecturer: take note everybody, next time any of you arrive late at my class, he or she will leave my class. And hey u come back what re u wearing,

Me: my cloth nah.

Lecturer: this isn’t a cloth, that is a cloth . *Pointing at the guy beside me*

I was made an object of laughter, which made me to regret ever coming into thelecture hall. I went to an empty seat and sat down. The lectures about music was interesting, it was on that same day i learnt the way to fight stage fright. The lecture ended earlier than i expected.
All students started leaving the lecture hall one after the other. Some were with their babies (girlfriend) while some were with dudes and besties. On my own side , i was walking alone with nobody to talk to me. ”Hey dude, why walking alone? U didn’t wait for me” alves called me back.

Me: why would i wait for u? Re u not the one that left in the morning without calling me?

Alves: am sorry bro, just that i wasn’t myself.

Me: no p. We re friends now. Right?

Alves : sure. Why not.

We stroll down the school and entered into our hostel. We consumed the little food i cooked in the morning. After eating the food, i started asking him all the whole question i ever wanted to ask about the school. Through his little explanation, i came to realise that some of the top Libya musicians passed through the music school.After gisting for some mins, i left the hostel to an abandoned hall. There i was memorizing about all the lecturer said about the history of music. Soon, i found myself singing a music which have written since i was a kid.

”Nice voice and nice music ” a voice of a girl said to me. The voice came as a surprise to me because i couldn’t imagin that a girl can come to such lonely and fearful place.
I turn my face and saw the damsel that recommended my music and voice.

Girl: hey, lovely voice. Who sang this song?

Me: that’s my song

Girl: u mean u sang that?

Me: yep…….

Girl: wow, it cool. I love it.

Me: wow, at least , someone had just recommended me.

Girl; smiling* by the way, am Nancy

Me: am chuks.. Chuks Kent.

Nancy: nice meeting u.

she left after talking to me…….

Mind 1::.:::” wow, shabi dem think say i no go make am, ah don make am……. Hahahahahaha
