it was the sectional commander {SCC} of my company that was blaring through the alert system. I turn to look at the time , it was 1am, what a f--k, why can’t these people let us have enough rest. It was just 11.30pm that we were all retired from tattoo ,we were told to go and have some Rest. I just ran my hands across my bare head shaved clean with razor blade. Some times this s--t always happen and i don’t give a f--k to any SCC or CC, like a man high on weed, i just walk out of my hostel in the training camp to the conference hall ………..

“Lucky i hear say the RAN 1st batch recruitment don reach corne o”. Ema broke out with happy glee.

“Guy you seriouse?” i ask him amid doubt, “yes na”, he reply .


“How about the form?”

“E don show o”, he brought out his own application form and showed me. “How much for the form?” I manage to ask am.

“ok, na bro later things na” . I told him , and left. “Make me go grab my own form before i lost the chance”.

Joining the paramilitary has become one of my greatest ambition.

What motivated me most was the day that i was coming from some where, it was 6pm but i didn’t notice so i drove my bike pass for the RAN check point. Nai one RAN soldier come stop me give me frog jump. By the time i finish, i no even feel my legs again chai, nai i come vex leap climb my bike. Nai i come shout

nai i try to start the bike but e no won start, chai see devil handiwork. As i turn look back i come see the paramilitary guy dey come, omg i don buy big wahala…na so all my body dey shake and sweat as the guy dey approach me with koboko.
