I had just been kicked out from my house, my comfort zone, the only home I have ever known. I have no place to go, no friends, no families to turn to, except for one of my friend kola who has always been my pillar.

My names are Rita Johnson, I’m the only child of my parents, my mum died when I was just seven while my dad died when I was twenty two (22)years old. Life hasn’t been easy for me, I have survival on my own on the street hawking all sort of things to make hands meet. But selling my body for money was total out of the way.

How did I even meet my best friend kola? Hmmm now I remember (like I can forget, lolz) it was one evening, the day was bad, I didn’t make sales, I was angry and almost course God but tried to hold my tongue. I was still in my thought when a young guy in his early 20s (I guess) knocked me down with his car. I was so angry I quickly got up to check myself if I have any bruises on me but lucky there was non, so I furiously went to his car to lash my anger on him, but to my surprise he was just in his car, face down, he wasn’t moving so I panic, I called for help and a gentle man helped me to drive him to a near by hospital. We got to the hospital and the quickly admitted him and started to treat him.

Around 6:20pm some people came in smelling nice, and looking fresh but the looks on their face showed they were not happy. The woman started to shout “can somebody please tell me, my son is going to be ok”?

Another man held her tight that should be her husband and console her “my dear calm down kola, will be fine”.

Few minutes later the doctor came out and just walked pass me as if he didn’t see me. He went straight to those people.

DOCTOR: Welcome Mr and Mrs owolabi, please follow me to my office.

MRS OWOLABI: Please doc, whatever it is just say it here.

He sign before he started to talk to them I didn’t hear the clearly. Some minutes later he walked pass me again so I held his hand.

RITA: Sir, how’s the man I brought.

The look on the doctor’s face show that he was confuse.

DOCTOR: I don’t understand you miss, which young man are you talking about?

I was shocked, what does he mean by the “young man you brought”

RITA: You don’t understand me, the boy who was involve in an accident that I brought not long ago who was wearing a blue pencil jeans, and a red shirt you don’t know him?

Then I saw him smiled (what’s funny)

DOCTOR: You are really a handful girl, I remember now.
